Peach Pickin'

Today was special because we went peach picking! We go to Entz Orchard every year we are able. Honestly, they cross my mind if we have a late freeze or a bad storm that could damage or kill the year's crop of peaches or apples... it truly is a sad thing when that happens! But no tears this time, it's a beautiful crop!

 The orchard isn't far from town and the family that owns and operates it is so kind and sweet.

 Elaine Entz encouraged us to taste and enjoy and... we did! Grocery peaches will never be this juicy and sweet. You should go and get some too, we left more than a few.

Evie Is Avant-Garde

And this is her studio, otherwise known as our living room. Unfortunately in this photo I neglected to include the third set of paints she used that were balanced on the arm of a chair to the right.

I think she's brilliant. How typical, right?

Mother's Day

 I'm so thankful for the little one that made me a momma... she and her daddy made me feel so very loved.

We've been getting spoiled spending so much more time with my momma who has semi-retired!

And in other news, Evie's really come out of her shell!

You know when something is overdue and it just becomes awkward after such a long silence? That's how I feel about not posting here for seven months. 

Sorry to be so quiet. 

I've been trying to focus my blogging energies on my photography website, which is up and going! There are still a number of things to add to the website, but I'm realizing it's never going to be "finished", rather a work in progress. 

I think I will keep Cottage Industrious going as a personal blog and the website will be for business.
